GUILLEM CLUA
Guillem Clua (Barcelona, 1973) is one of our most well known international contemporary authors.
His most important pieces, La pell en flames, Smiley: una història d’amor and L’oreneta, have been translated into numerous languages and performed worldwide. His most recent works are Justícia (National Prize for Dramatic Literature 2020) and Smiley: després de l’amor.
He has also written major epic dramas (Marburg, Gust de cendra, Invasión), political farces (Al damunt dels nostres cants, La terra promesa), musicals (Killer, 73 raons per deixar-te) and adaptations of classics (Ilíada, Mort a Venècia, La Revoltosa) and has long experience as a journalist, teacher and screenwriter of cinema and television.
